Kheerat Panesar is Walford's very own Alan Sugar….well, if you took a huge chunk out of tycoon's hefty bank balance. The savvy entrepreneur has recently shown fans a different side to him, proving he's not all business after starting a romantic relationship with Stacey Slater, played by Lacey Turner.
Kheerat actor Jaz Deol joined EastEnders back in 2019 as a member of the Panesar family, alongside the actors who portray his relatives on the soap. This included actors Amar Adatia and Shiv Jalota, whose jobs it is to play his on-screen brothers Jags and Vinny, his sister Ash (played by Gurlaine Kaur Garcha), and their mum Suki ( Balvinder Sopal).
Kheerat is well-loved by viewers, and their love of him is reflected in him winning the Best TV Character sections at the 2021 Asian Media Awards in October last year. Opening up about his "overwhelming" win at the awards ceremony, the beloved actor expressed that he was almost left "in tears".
