A truck and a car with four occupants collided around 11:00 a.m. this Friday in Cologne. An 11-year-old girl and an elderly woman died after the traffic accident, police chief Jhonny Diego told Underlined.
The incident occurred on Route 1 and Camino de los Colonos, near Colonia Valdense.
At the moment, the police do not know the age of the woman who died. Meanwhile, two other women were transferred to medical centers in Rosario and Nueva Helvecia.

Sources in the case said that the truck was traveling from Montevideo to Colonia, and the car tried to cross the road. The truck driver, who was uninjured, could not avoid hitting the car, he told police.
