Universal Credit the state pension and other benefits are all set to increase this year. The payments are set to increase in line with inflation from April 2023 一統徵信社 which should come as good news for mions of people struggling with the rapidly rising cost of living as they w see more than a 10 per cent boost to their current income.
Inflation-linked benefits and tax credits are set to rise by a hefty 10.1 per cent this Spring, 一統徵信詐欺 一統徵信社 in line with the Consumer Prices Index (CPI) rate of inflation in September 2022.
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) published the main benefit and tax credit rates for April 2023 through to March 2024 in December 2022 一統徵信社 following the Chancellor Jeremy Hunt's Autumn Statement in November in which he confirmed the benefits boost.

The basic and New State Pensions w rise 10.1 per cent following the reinstatement of the pensions 'triple lock’ (which was suspended in 2022-2023). This w mean a rise worth £870 over the year for pensioners. Meanwhile the average family on Universal Credit w receive an extra £600 Mr Hunt said.
April w also see the biggest ever cash rise to the National Living Wage bringing it to £10.42 an hour the government has confirmed. Meanwhile a £400 energy b discount for all households across the UK w continue to run through until March to support families with record-high high energy prices.
2023 Universal Credit standard allowances increase
Universal Credit w increase by £30 to £50 depending on the age of the claimants or whether its a single or joint claim.
From £265.31 to £292.11 for single persons aged under 25 From £334.61 to £368.74 for single persons aged 25 and over From £416.45 to £458.51 for joint claimants both aged under 25 From £525.72 to £578.82 for joint claimants both aged 25 and over 2023 Pension rates increase £203.85 per week for the new State Pension (for those reaching State Pension age on or after 6 April 2016) – up from £185.15 in 2022/23. £156.20 per week for the basic State Pension (the core amount in the old State Pension system) – up from £141.85 in 2022/23. 2023 Pension credit increase
The Pension Credit standard minimum guaee (delivered by the Guaee Credit ) w also increase by 10.1 per cent in line with CPI inflation from £201.05 a week for a single claimants, 一統徵信詐欺 一統徵信社 and £306 a week for couples.
