For several weeks, the Glazer family expressed its desire to sell Manchester United and that is why since then it has analyzed potential candidates to buy one of the giant clubs in the Premier League. According to what the newspaper ‘The Mirror’ indicates, one of the personalities who intends to buy the club is the Formula 1 driver, Lewis Hamilton, who could be one of the investors in the offer made by Jim Ratcliffe, owner of Ineos. This is not the first time that the Briton is interested in gaining a foothold in English football since, in 2022, Hamilton also looked for a way to buy Chelsea, but everything remained a wish since the offer did not prosper.
However, Hamilton is no stranger to business as he is part owner of the NFL’s Denver Broncos and now wants to go strong for Manchester United. It should be noted that the Glazers have been highly criticized in the last decade because despite the great investment made by the squad, United has not been able to break the drought of more than ten years without titles. It is for this reason that a part of the fans has asked for the departure of that family.
