In the early afternoon of today, Monday 16 January, the ‘Shanky Quad’ association donated three defibrillators to the city of Velletri, which were installed in the three main squares of the city. The president of the association Elio Delle Chiaie was present at the event, as well as the other managers, the vice president Claudio Ripanti, Francesca Crocetta and Annarita Delle Chiaie.
Around 3 pm, the first safety device was installed in front of the park in Piazza Garibaldi. Also assisting were Mayor Orlando Pocci, the leader of the Democratic Party Mauro Leoni and the councilor for mobility and accessibility Edoardo Menicocci.
The Veliterna Red Cross was also represented, with President Rocco Barbato helping on the spot.
In sequence the defibrillators were then positioned in Piazza Cairoli, in front of the Unicredit bank, and in Piazza Mazzini. However, these three will not be the last devices that the ‘Shanky Quad’ association (which is named in memory of Carlo Antonelli) will donate to the city of Velletri: the show-homage to Pino Daniele ‘Na tazzulella ‘e cafè’, to be held next Friday 20 January at 9 pm at the Teatro Artemisio Gian Maria Volonté, it will serve precisely to finance the purchase of new security equipment. The goal is to finally have a #VelletriCardioprotected.
