Marcel Sabitzer has sent his first message as a Manchester United player on Instagram.
United moved to bring in Austrian midfield Sabitzer on loan from Bayern Munich on transfer deadline day to offset the loss of Christian Eriksen to injury. The pivotal playmaker is out of action until late April and once the extent of his injury was confirmed United sprung into action to find cover.
The 28-year-old wasn't signed in time to make his debut for Erik ten Hag's side as they cruised to the Carabao Cup final on Wednesday. United defeated Nottingham Forest 2-0 in the second leg, with goals from Anthony Martial and Fred, to win 5-0 on aggregate and book a Wembley date with Newcastle.

However, Sabitzer was in the stands at Old Trafford to watch his new teammates in action. United's official Instagram posted a photo of him in the crowd with a waving emoji, which Sabitzer shared with the caption 'hello Manchester United.'
“Sometimes in life you have to make quick and important decisions," Sabitzer said on the move. "From the moment I heard about this opportunity I knew it was right for me. I am a competitive player; I want to win and help the club achieve its aims this season.
“I feel that I am at my peak as a player, and that I can contribute a lot of experience and energy to the squad. I am excited to start with my new team-mates and manager and to show my qualities to Manchester United fans.”
