At least six people injured and one dead is the preliminary balance left by an accident on the Atizapán-Nicolás Romero highway, after a trailer hit several vehicles and ended up inside a car wash.
During the morning of this Saturday, February 25, an accident involving a trailer and at least four private units was recorded, this at the height of the ExHacienda del Pedregal, near the La Cima neighborhood, in the municipality of Atizapán de Zaragoza. .

According to the first reports, the incident would have occurred after the trailer apparently ran out of brakes and the driver lost control of the heavy unit on Oceano Atlántico street (with a steep slope), which faces the highway Atizapán-Nicolas Romero.
After losing control, the trailer carrying rods impacted several vehicles and then ended up entering a car wash.

The accident left at least six people injured who were transferred to the Atizapán Red Cross and the Lomas Verdes Traumatology Hospital.
Likewise, according to the testimonies, a man of approximately 40 years of age, allegedly lost his life when he was trapped in his vehicle, which was left under the trailer.

Elements of Civil Protection, firefighters, paramedics and police arrived at the scene; Meanwhile, the municipal president of Atizapán de Zaragoza, Pedro Rodríguez, arrived at the site to supervise the work of the emergency forces and to attend to the neighbors, as well as to evaluate the characteristics of the accident.
On the other hand, reports indicate that the driver of the trailer would have fled.
