Stéphane Bern never forgets heritage. A few hours before the Victories of Classical Music ceremony, the host visited the Saint-Philibert church in Dijon (Côte d’Or) at the start of the afternoon this Wednesday. Accompanied by the mayor François Rebsamen, he discovered this building dating from the 12th century which needs a major renovation.
When I see this magnificent church, I can’t let it down. It’s stronger than me, says Stéphane Bern. During the visit of the building opened especially for his arrival, the presenter multiplies the questions to understand the importance of the place and the problems he encounters. I think that we must transmit to the next generations the heritage in a better state than the one in which we found it, he adds.

In charge of heritage for the city of Dijon, Bastien Deliau and Zoé Blumenfeld-Chiodo presented the building to Stéphane Bern.
